Courtney slayed this story; consumed me from the very beginning. She has a unique writing style that pulls you in and you feel as if these characters are your friends and her books always play as a movie in my head, I'm experiencing everything with them. They pain, trauma, heartbreak, gut-wrenching, love, self-acceptance, and much more. Brady is a broken man whose life has been anything but easy. His dad is heartless and ruthless; I despise that man so much. He has put him through so much pain and anguish that a times I was in tears, because the pain was horrible; then I get hit with him losing the love of his life, and that alone broke me, it was so hard watching this beautiful mourn and grief the way he did and then on top of that dealing with his dad and the pressure of being the second in line to follow in his dads footsteps.
